Vintage Red Dirt Elopement

share /

Dressed in his grandfather’s leather jacket, and a gown from the store she owns, Avery and Seth celebrated their love in this vintage red dirt elopement. Inside the State Park, these two explore the small hoodoos and loved on each other in the early morning sun.

The State of Texas has entirely more landscapes and beautiful spots than most assume. The Palo Duro Canyon, for example, is the second largest canyon in the Hemisphere, second only to the Grand Canyon. Located 30 minutes from Amarillo, 5 hours from DFW, and 7 hours from Austin – it is in the Texas panhandle. Avery and Seth call the nearby town of Canyon home, and she even opened a bridal store with one of her best friends (who’s also her cousin-in-law) Collette!

Ruthettte’s is a small bridal boutique in the downtown square of Canyon, Texas. Inspired by owners, Avery Ruth and Colette, Ruthette’s opened in May 2017. The shop is modern, yet classic, vintage, yet untraditional. The designers we have chosen to breathe life into our shop are creative and talented and appeal to the uniqueness of every bride. We believe brides are very special and the dress they choose represents their individual personality. We strive to develop a relationship with our brides and make their dress-buying experience seamless and enjoyable. With over 200 dresses and 5 designers, we have a diverse selection of gowns appealing to the classic, the spunky, the delicate, the bold and every bride that walks through our door.
