Dare to Explore & “Wonder in the Pines” of East Texas

share /

Have you ever dreamed of glamping in the woods with the love of your life? Enter: Wonder in the Pines of East Texas. A glamping airbnb adventure in the heart of Tyler, TX! Owned and operated by Sariah and Parker Owen, along with their sweet baby girl Wonder.

On the day of our shoot, I drove through hay fields and down into a pine tree valley, to find Sariah + Parker already having a blast, being like kids and chasing each other around, belly laughing and acting like the best friends they are. We started our session by climbing (although not super gracefully) into their boho hammock on the property.

After exiting the hammock (or should I say falling out of?), we headed over to the cute white yurt and got cozy on the porch, danced to my favorite Spotify summer playlist (linked here!), and jumped on the bed. Next, S + P changed and headed to their outdoor shower for some steamy fun in the East Texas pines – wrapped in each others arms like as if that’s where they were always meant to be! Lastly, we headed up to the hay fields to pop champagne and run around a bit more in the Texas sunset.

The entire session felt like we were all just friends exploring the woods and hanging out, rather than a photographer instructing two clients on poses and prompts. What. A. Dream.

If you ever have the opportunity to go Wonder in the Pines in East Texas at Sariah + Parker’s airbnb, I couldn’t suggest it more! My husband and I cannot wait to plan our own weekend out there.
