Picture this: you have found the photographer you dream of capturing your big day, but either they are already booked on your day or they are outside of your budget for their services. What options do you have?! This is when the Associate program comes in to save the day!

I (Julia) proudly takes on the role of main contact person during the planning process and personally handles the editing and delivery of the photos, maintaining the quality of experience for clients and friends. Each member of the JDCo Team has gone through applications, interviews, and portfolio reviews to ensure that they will fit in the team seamlessly and also bring a special creative touch for couples. They have also all worked with me in the past, and would be fully trust them to capture even my wedding! We shoot genuinely and candidly capturing those real + raw moments, and cannot wait for your day!

Should you opt for the associate option, whether due to availability or a preference for JDCo Team associate pricing, I will provide details of your chosen associate and their contact information as we get closer to your big day. A group video call or in-person coffee break can also be arranged around the same time to introduce you to your photographer.

Does the turnaround time change with the associate team?

After your beautiful big day has concluded, the associate will get me your RAW images. After those have been delivered to me, your sneak previews will be delivered to you within 24-48 hours! Full galleries are generally delivered within six weeks, unless otherwise noted prior to contracting based on the season.

How does travel for associates work?

WITHIN 50 MILES OF AUSTIN, TX — No travel fee!

WITHIN 2 HOURS of AUSTIN, TX — A custom travel rate will be applied to these events. This is directly based on roundtrip mileage according to the current federal standard mileage rate, lodging if timeline surpasses 8pm and/or towards airfare and other costs if necessary (i.e. parking fees, special permits).

OUTSIDE OF TEXAS — Travel fee is a flat $ amount for any bookings outside of Texas but within the United States. This flat fee covers potential airfare or gas/mileage, lodging, food, potential car rental, insurance, time spent traveling, and other costs.

**If associate is also based outside of Texas due to the wedding being outside of the state, then the mileage will be calculated from the associates point of origin — all of this will be fully communicated and agreed upon before contract is sent!*

Can I see some of the associates galleries before booking?

Absolutely! Once you inquire and we begin chatting about the associate team, I will send over galleries that my Team has shot so you can see how perfectly their work flows in with the Julia Davis Co experience you already know!
