In the heart of Upstate New York lies Lundy Farm, a landscape of natural beauty waiting to be explored. From rolling hills to serene lakeshores, the scenery provides the perfect backdrop for sessions unlike any other. Follow along as I embarked on a journey with the Heart University, of love, connection, and the joy of parenthood amidst the breathtaking scenery of Upstate New York – an adventure of capturing love, nature, and family.
Embracing Nature’s Canvas
Our adventure begins in Upstate New York’s countryside. Surrounded by towering trees and meandering streams, we find ourselves immersed in the peacefulness of nature’s embrace. We discovered hidden gems and picturesque vistas, offering endless possibilities for our unique couples session: tennis courts, antique bikes, croquet, and so much more.
Capturing Intimate Moments
As the golden light of sunset bathes the landscape in a warm glow, we took the opportunity to capture intimate moments of love and connection in a massive area. Amy & Garrett shared stolen glances, tender embraces, and playful laughter, each frame a testament to the depth of their bond – accompanied with antique bikes and an open bottle of Red (and occasionally even sweet baby girl Louis).
Introducing a New Dimension
Enter the newest member of the family – the adorable bundle of joy who adds an extra layer of love and laughter to our session. Rather than a cliché family portrait, we approach the inclusion of the baby with a fresh perspective, seeking authentic moments of connection and joy that reflect the unique dynamics of the family unit.
Embracing Spontaneity
In the spirit of adventure, we embrace spontaneity and allow the session to unfold organically. Whether it’s frolicking in the fields, drinking out of the bottle by the bike path, or teasing each other about the basics of croquet and tennis, each moment is infused with joy, laughter, and a sense of wonder.

Our session may not fit the mold of a traditional family portrait, but it captures something far more precious – the authentic love, connection, and sense of adventure that defines this unique family. And even the moments of craziness where you just need a sip of wine and laugh that comes along with a new baby.

As we bid farewell to the rolling hills and tranquil riverbed of Upstate New York and Lundy Farm, we carried with us the memories captured in each frame – a visual testament to the beauty of love, nature, and family. And though our session may have come to an end, the journey of discovery and connection continues, forever preserved in the timeless art of photography.
