Sydney and Logan shared their Mexico destination wedding with their closest friends and family at Secrets Bahia Mita. It was a whole week of celebration with luxe vibes and genuine connections. SYDNEY AND LOGAN’S LOVE STORY
Sydney and Logan have known each other since high school in a small town, aware of each other’s presence but never really had interest. It wasn’t until Sydney’s Freshman year of college and Logan’s junior year that things took a turn. He was living with two of his best friends from Bellville—whom Sydney knew well and was good friends with. The story unfolds on New Year’s Eve in Bellville 2018 going into 2019. As everyone else called it a night, Logan and Sydney found themselves in conversation that marked the beginning of something special!
Fast forward a year of dating, and they both knew they had found something extraordinary. With plenty of school left and their youth ahead of them, getting married wasn’t exactly part of the current plan. Despite being complete opposites, they often playfully describe themselves as Sydney being a golden retriever and Logan being a black cat—she’s super outgoing and bubbly, while he’s a social introvert. Together, they balance each other perfectly!
A MEXICO DESTINATION WEDDING AT SECRETS BAHIA MITA
This group was a great bunch of party people. We had to shift the reception from outdoors to indoors due to the heat and humidity, but everything turned out beautifully. The unexpected fireworks (thanks to Mexican Independence Day) added an extra special touch that surprised everyone at the resort.
Despite being at a massive resort, the wedding day felt intimate and homey. What I loved most was that everyone stayed for a week, making it more than just a day; it was a complete wedding experience. One of the major perks of having a destination wedding is celebrating your love while on vacation.
