A Day of Ranch Romance and Hidden Gems
Sophia and Cole’s Rancho Moonrise wedding was a dreamlike celebration filled with golden light, heartfelt emotion, and intentional design. The Ranch is nestled just outside Austin, Texas. This unique venue provided the perfect canvas for a wedding that felt both intimate and expansive — rooted in nature, but styled with modern charm.
The Venue: Rancho Moonrise
Rancho Moonrise isn’t your typical desert venue—it’s a multifaceted oasis. From sun-soaked historic corrals, linen glamping structures to minimalist black metal cabins and twinkling string-lit fields, every corner invites creativity. Sophia & Cole made full use of the space. She started their day in the warm getting-ready suite, filled with soft light and anticipation.
Unique Spaces, Unique Storytelling
Rather than keeping to one main area, Sophia and Cole took guests on a journey. The ceremony was held in the metal barn. Natural textures felt soft with white and green florals and sweet families. Cocktail hour flowed into the old stables, Neon Moon — woody, organic, and perfectly cozy for guests. For dinner, they chose the lower courtyard, strung with lights and flanked by rustic steel fences that created a cozy, backyard nature vibe under the stars. The reception was on the barn porch, covered from the drizzle, intimate, but plenty large for a wild dance party. How wild? Her bridesmaids surprised her with a flash mob dressed as Pitbull!
