I almost turned down my first mentorship inquiry. My mind was telling me I was no where near prepared for this. Why would anyone want to learn from ME when I’m still figuring it all out? But I took a leap of faith in myself, in God for bringing this opportunity, and in the idea that this would not have come if I wasn’t at a place where my experience could be powerful for creatives in their careers. And, during this first experience, I found myself in shock. I had NO idea how far I have come, and how far my art has come, in the short year or two I’ve been doing this.Â
